Job Description:
At Harbour Capital, the Funding Coordinator functions as primary personal contact between sales associates, vendors, customers, credit, and customer service personnel on all loan/lease documentation. This position’s primary function is to assist our vendor-driven sales team through the back-end funding process for all transactions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Actively communicates daily with assigned sources, vendors, and customers
- Creates document packages
- Takes responsibility for communicating with customers, vendors, and sources to obtain any missing items not returned with the documentation package to properly close transactions
- Adheres to policies and procedures requirements for documentation
- Requires properly prepared invoices and obtain sales quotes
- Resolves issues to facilitate the funding of lease/loan transactions
- Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelors/Associates Degree or three (3) years of experience in the equipment finance industry.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to learn additional systems as needed
- Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
